Stanford AI4ALL
Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies
About
Stanford AI4ALL is a summer program dedicated to increasing diversity and inclusion within the field of artificial intelligence by making the subject accessible to young students from underrepresented backgrounds. The program's mission is rooted in the "Human-Centered AI" philosophy, teaching students not only the technical foundations of AI but also how these tools can be applied to solve pressing social problems and make a positive global impact. Participants spend two to three weeks engaging in lectures, hands-on projects, and collaborative sessions alongside a global cohort of peers. Core activities include learning from Stanford faculty and researchers, exploring AI's role in various industries, and participating in workshops that emphasize the ethical implications of technology. By the end of the program, students gain a foundational understanding of machine learning and a network of mentors and like-minded peers dedicated to "AI for social good."
