About
The mission of the 3-Week Teen Documentary Filmmaking Summer Camp is to introduce young storytellers to the art of nonfiction filmmaking through an immersive, "learning-by-doing" approach. The program provides unique value by granting students access to industry-standard equipment and professional mentorship to develop their unique creative voices. Core activities include intensive training in producing, directing, digital cinematography, and production sound recording. Students also master post-production skills using professional software like Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve. Throughout the three weeks, participants complete multiple projects, including a final documentary film that they direct themselves, ranging from observational pieces to interview-driven narratives.
